Billboard Advertising
Traditional Out-of-Home Advertising Formats
Billboard advertising consists of standardized, large format advertising displays that are viewed from a distance, typically more than 50 feet. “Billboards” is an umbrella term for out-of-home advertising formats including 30-sheets, 8-sheets, bulletins, bulletins with extensions or props, premiere panels, mobile billboards, spectaculars and wallscapes. In recent years, many billboard companies have been converting conventional billboards to digital formats, a trend that is expected to continue.
Billboard advertising is located primarily on major highways, expressways, principal arterials or in high-density metropolitan areas. Billboards offer high reach among vehicular traffic and/or pedestrians but can be hard to plan and buy because they are owned by so many different billboard companies. WMI gives you a one-stop resource for all of your out-of-home planning and buying.
